- ⅓ cup sake
- ⅓ cup mirin
- ⅓ cup miso paste
- ¼ cup brown sugar, packed
- 3 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon yuzu juice
- 4 sea bass fillets (4 oz each, about 1 inch thick)
- 2 tablespoons green onion, chopped
1. Prepare Marinade
- Whisk together sake, mirin, miso paste, brown sugar, soy sauce, and yuzu juice in a bowl.
2. Marinate Fish
- Place sea bass fillets in a large resealable plastic bag.
- Pour marinade over fillets and refrigerate for 3–6 hours.
3. Broil Fish
- Preheat oven broiler and set the rack about 6 inches from the heat source. Keep the oven door slightly ajar.
- Arrange fillets on a baking sheet and discard marinade.
- Broil until fish flakes easily with a fork, 7–9 minutes.
4. Garnish and Serve
- Sprinkle with green onion before serving.
