Honey Garlic Butter Salmon
Sweet, buttery, garlicky salmon baked to flaky perfection in under 15 minutes. One pan, minimal cleanup, maximum flavor.
Ingredients
• 4 salmon fillets, skin-on
• 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
• 2 garlic cloves, minced
• 2 tablespoons honey
• 0.5 teaspoons dried parsley
• 0.3 teaspoons black pepper
• 0.3 teaspoons kosher salt
• 1 pinch paprika
• 1 lemon wedges, to serve
Instructions
1. Preheat oven: Preheat oven to 400°F. Line a baking tray with foil.
2. Make the glaze: Mix 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted, 2 garlic cloves, minced, 2 tablespoons honey, 0.5 teaspoons dried parsley, 0.3 teaspoons kosher salt, 0.3 teaspoons black pepper, and 1 pinch paprika together in a bowl until combined.
3. Place the salmon: Place 4 salmon fillets, skin-on skin-side down on the lined tray. Pour the glaze evenly over each fillet. Don’t worry if it pools on the tray.
4. First bake: Add 1 lemon wedges, to serve on and around the fish. Bake for 8 minutes.
5. Baste: Open the oven and spoon the pooled glaze back over the fillets.
6. Finish baking: Bake another 4–7 minutes until the salmon is tender and flaky. Internal temp should reach 145°F.
Pro tip from City Fish Market: Don’t skip the basting step — that pooled glaze is where all the caramelized flavor comes from. Skin-on fillets hold together better and stay moist. Pick up fresh salmon at the counter at 884 Silas Deane Hwy, Wethersfield.
