Maple Soy Glazed Salmon
Ingredients
- 4 fresh Salmon fillets (about 6 ounces each)
- 3 tablespoons maple syrup
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, minced
- 1 1/2 teaspoons cornstarch, dissolved in 1 tablespoon water
- 1 scallion, thinly sliced (white part plus about 2-3 inches of the green)
- 1 tablespoon toasted sliced almonds (optional)
Instructions
Prepare the Glaze:
In a small bowl, whisk together the maple syrup, soy sauce, minced ginger, and the cornstarch solution until smooth.
Bake the Salmon:
Preheat your oven to 375°F.
Place the Salmon fillets skin-side down in a shallow baking pan.
Pour the syrup mixture evenly over the fillets.
Bake for about 10 minutes, or until the fish flakes easily with a fork. Baste with the glaze halfway through the cooking time.
Garnish and Serve:
Before serving, sprinkle the baked Arctic Char with sliced scallion and toasted almonds, if using.
