Oven Baked Crispy Tilapia
Ingredients
- 1 cup bread crumbs
- 1 tablespoon grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon oregano or Italian seasoning
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 2-3 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 1 1/2 lbs. tilapia fillets (or other white fish fillets, such as sole, cod, or haddock)
Instructions
Preheat the Oven:
Preheat your oven to 375°F and lightly oil a baking sheet.
Prepare the Coating:
In a bag, mix the bread crumbs, Parmesan, oregano, salt, and pepper. Shake to combine.
Coat the Fish:
Brush each fillet with oil, place it in the bag, and shake to coat. Lay the coated fillets on the baking sheet.
Bake the Fish:
Bake for 10 minutes, flip, and bake for another 5-10 minutes until the fish flakes easily with a fork.
Serve:
Serve immediately after removing from the oven.
