Haven\'t been here in years, decided to stop for a quick lunch. Service was fast and friendly. Ordered at the counter and only waited a couple of minutes for our food. They have a sit down area for those that don\'t want to take out. Great lunch.

The wife said to stop by City Fish and pick up something good, which is anything. But the halibut looked really good, understatement. The halibut was so tender, so moist and sweet everyone asked for seconds. Thanks.

City Fish Market is the best place in Wethersfield to get very fresh fish. they have loyalty cards for discounts . I always check for their weekly specials. Don't know how to cook a particular fish? Just ask and you will receive good advise.

I enjoy getting fish here and fried seafood because the prices are great for its quality. They serve beer and wine in the dining area. That's def a premium when you can get fresh.

3 p.m., starving, had to get a fried food fix - passing by Wethersfield and thought of City Fish and fried oysters.Great idea.Oysters were plump and perfectly fried as were the fries - not greasy at all.Their dining room is super comfortable and the ability to pair my late lunch with an ice cold Bud Light, for less than $4, was the icing on the cake. Not sure where you can get better fried fish platters.

We live 40 minutes away, but whenever we are closer we always head to City Fish Market to buy the freshest seafood in the area!! My husband loves shrimp so it's a given I always get a couple of pounds for two meals or a company meal! The price on their medium size shrimp is by far the lowest anywhere around. They are good size too. I also pick up fish. They have a frequent customer card...no requirements except that you spend $20 in a visit to have it punched. When the card is full you get a $25 gift card! An added bonus. Very nice. Love City Fish!

I purchased 6 jumbo shrimp and some flounder and bay scallops for part of my dressing. Also bought fresh haddock to make dinner for friends. The shrimp and stuffing were outstanding. Great service!

City Fish is a local icon. It primarily serves restaurants and markets in the central CT area with a wide range of fish, shrimp, scallops, clams, lobster, etc. It has a counter where you purchase fish on a retail basis. But the real gem is their To Go area where they cook a wide range of fish and other goodies for the Take-out audience which is substantial. Once cooked you can take it home or eat-in in an attractive dining room. No service since they do not want to compete with their restaurant customers but drinks are available (beer and wine). You eat from your take out container. Food is fresh, well prepared - food is first rate. Favorite stop when we are in the area.
